How to design a logo in Photoshop is a question that many of my subscribers ask. I want to explain this in a simple way so you can understand the process clearly.

So, what do you need to know about designing a logo in Photoshop?
Photoshop is a strong editing program that can be used for simple image changes. You can change colors, crop, resize, add text, create filters, and do many other useful things. All of this is possible because of the powerful layer blending features. One of those features is ‘Background Blend‘, which lets you create layers of the same color and blend them to make the logo or image look more realistic. You can also combine text and logo in the same design by using ‘Duplicate Layer’ and ‘overlay‘. These features help designers create amazing images and logos that can be great for marketing and advertising.
To create a ‘background‘ in Photoshop, start by selecting an image from your computer.
Then click on the icon at the top of the screen. You’ll see an ‘Align’ dropdown menu where you can choose ‘Align’ and click the arrow button. Enter the number you want to align the image to and click OK. Next, create as many layers as needed so each has its own copy of the background image. After creating the layers, select ‘overlay‘ from the layer menu and click the arrow on the layer you want to blend with the original image.
If you need to remove any part of an image, select it with the mouse and use the mouse wheel to get a selection area.
Then go to the ‘asso‘ tool by clicking on the ‘a’ symbol in the lower left corner of the image properties panel. With the mouse in place, start dragging the selection outwards so it covers the whole image area. Stop when you have made a line from the center of the image to the left or right of the original image.
Designing a logo in Photoshop is not hard once you learn the basic steps, but creating great graphics takes a lot of practice.
